Scott Dowling – creator of Insurance In The Light

Scott Dowling is President of Ramage & Sheahen, Inc.,  a Chicago-based insurance broker advising businesses and individuals with their purchases of health, life, employee benefits and property/casualty insurance.

Scott has been involved in insurance for over the past 2o years.  Having worked for global insurance companies and spending time in all parts of the operation, he has a keen understanding of all of the working parts of the insurance company.  As a broker, Scott oversaw the purchase of a division of a former global insurance brokerage and understands the different parts of the distribution channel and how it affects pricing and competition.

As an entrpreneur, business owner, father, husband, son, brother, uncle, godfather, coach and volunteer, Scott understands how insurance affects each of us – from the premiums we pay, to the responsibilities we hold, the liabilities we face and the dreams we wish to realize.
